VAMOS A CUENCA

Hola All Y'all
Well, we are about "outta here" for a few months.  Really looking forward to exploring the environs of Cuenca and there about in Ecuador.  Although I never thought packing for 75 days would be soooo hard.  Thank goodness we will have our own washer/dryer in our little apartment we have rented for our stay.  It's cozy, comfortable and completely furnished with everything, including the kitchen sink, and it's centrally located in the heart of Cuenca on the edge of the Tomebamba River, one of four rivers bisecting Cuenca

We will be walking a lot and breathing in the fresh high Andean air as we go.  Surely we will be in better shape when we return?

As my precious Jean has started a blog, we will literally keep you "posted" on our adventure as we go!

As they say in country, "Hasta Luego Baby".

WOW!  I'm excited now.  It is a delightful dilemma - how do you pack for 3 months?  In case you can't tell, that's me over there behind John's "shoes and shirts".  In truth, my sweet hubby will be packing some of my clothes in his suit case.  If we forget something, there is not a Wal-Mart!  But what do you bet we can find a place to purchase whatever we need. 

We'll "post" again after we get to our apartment, clean up and get rested up.  Our arrival date is Friday, 7/19 in the a.m.  Chao for Now.
